Crane Department Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Crane Department Superintendent.

• Float between installing and servicing cranes.

• Assist service tech with any servicing/inspecting cranes, including handling various parts and tools.

• Assisting installation crews with installation of new cranes.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to operate all manners of lifting equipment (forklifts, sky tracks, scissor lifts, etc.)

• Proficient in reading and understanding English

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Mechanical aptitude preferred with willingness to learn

• Must be able to work in efficiently and effectively, while maintaining safety standards

• Strong organizational skills

• Overall professional and positive attitude with a willingness and desire to learn

• Team-oriented – able to work with various personalities
