Powder Coating Department Foreman

FIM is seeking a full-time, onsite Powder Coating Department Foreman in Seminole, Texas, to work in a fast-paced, established organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire powder coating process, from raw material inspections to final product delivery.
Responsibilities:
Manage the department's daily workload and priorities; Provide clear direction and expectations to team members
Developing employees through training, delegation, coaching, and increased responsibility so that the team becomes increasingly capable, efficient, and able to take ownership of responsibilities throughout the department
Maintain accountability for quality, accuracy, productivity, and completion dates; coordinate Powder Coating dept. priorities with Project Management and Production
Communicate changes in priorities and schedules to the department
Identify and resolve issues that could affect Powder Coating department performance
Develop processes that improve the department's efficiency and ability to support the company's growth
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience managing a team of employees preferred
Experience in Paint/Powder Coating in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Punctual and motivated to work
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
Be familiar with reading and understanding blueprints
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Possess time management and organizational skills
Lead and coordinate a team of Powder Coaters
