FIM is seeking a full-time, on-site Welder in Seminole, Texas, to work in a fast-paced, established organization. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who takes initiative, learns independently, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Job Description:
Weld metal projects using MIG and TIG welders
Read shop blueprints
Measure and cut steel to specified lengths
Other duties as assigned by Foreman
Skills/Qualifications Needed:
Experience in welding with MIG and TIG welding disciplines preferred
Experience welding a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum preferred
Ability to read tape measure
Ability to read shop blueprints
Proficient in reading and understanding English
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Have initiative/willingness to learn and grow
Must be able to work in an efficient and effective manner, while maintaining safety standards
Organizational skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
Team-oriented – able to work with various personalities
