Sandblasting
Sandblasting, also known as abrasive blasting, is a finishing process for surfaces that uses substantial pressure to spray abrasive particles (i.e. sand) against a surface to remove excess or unwanted material. The pressurized sand particles create a smoother and more even texture across the surface.
FIM provides in-house sandblasting service as part of our paint and powder coating processes. We utilize an indoor sandblasting facility of over 5,000 ft.2 to accommodate even the largest of sandblasting projects.
Powder Coating
Powder coating is a dry finishing process used as a functional, protective and/or decorative finish. Powder coatings are available in an infinite range of colors and textures with excellent performance properties.
FIM features a powder coating shop of over 17,000 ft.2 equipped with some of the area's largest powder booths and ovens. We have capacities of up to 12' x 50' to handle all of your large industrial projects. FIM specializes on large, high-volume industrial projects while still being able to handle smaller automotive and decorative projects as well. We carry powder from most major powder manufacturers, and stock hundreds of pounds of powder from major providers like Tiger Coatings, Sherwin Williams, IFS Coatings, Prismatic Powders, and more.
Industrial Paint
Industrial paint serves as a high-quality, protective coating for your project against chemical and physical wear and gives it a complete, durable and beautiful finish.
Utilizing over 12,000 ft.2 of floor space, the FIM paint shop is equipped with 3 industrial booths with the largest being 16' x 100'. We specialize in industrial painting for multiple industries including construction, petroleum (oil and gas), agriculture and more. Our finishes include primer, enamels, single-stage paint, three-stage paint, base coat/clear coat applications, etc.
